Overview: The Bill requires the Department of Defense to provide information about caregiver supports to service members during pre-separation counseling. The information must explain available benefits and services and include eligibility criteria for the VA Caregiver Support Program.

Individuals (including a spouse, partner, parent, sibling, adult child, other relative, or friend) who provide physical or emotional assistance to former members of the Armed Forces during and after their transition from military life to civilian life.
